About us
Hi, my name is Lauren
A few years ago I started bringing homemade bingo cards to our family weekends. Not the numbers kind but bingo boards with things that might actually happen that weekend.
Someone falls asleep before 9pm. Grandma says she’s not hungry, then eats everything. Two people show up in the same shirt.
By sunday everyone’s watching everyone and someone always shouts BINGO! at exactly the wrong moment. That’s where this shop came from.
Why games
Why printable games
Board games are expensive. A box of cardboard for forty dollars, played twice, and after that collecting dust on a shelf. That’s not necessary.
i’m based in the Netherlands, making games for parties all over the world. Most of my customers are in the US, some in the UK, Australia, Canada. And honestly, it’s one of the nicer parts of this. A game I made at my kitchen table ends up at a Christmas table somewhere I’ve never been.
A few things about me
- Full disclosure: I’m a terrible loser. Ask my family about a certain property-trading board game we can no longer play at family weekends, for reasons involving how far a board can travel across a living room
- I have never once finished a game night without accusing someone of cheating or arguing about the rules.
- Christmas is my busiest season and my favorite one, which is either lucky or a problem (Given the two points above, you’ll understand why I keep the December games to a minimum. For everyone’s sake)
- I test every game at least once on real people. Usually my own family, who are not gentle about it.
- If a game needs more that a minute to explain, I start over
