The icebreaker for the part of the evening before anyone knows who to sit with.

Everyone gets a card. Every square is a person to find. Someone who tithes monthly, someone with a favorite Bible verse ready to share, someone who always brings snacks to church events. Find her, write her name in the square, move on to the next.

First to a full row shouts bingo. Or keep going until someone fills the whole card.

Why it works for women’s ministry

A women’s ministry night brings together the ladies who’ve been in the same pew for twenty years and the new family who joined last month. Most women only talk to the few they already know.

These cards give everyone an easy reason to walk up to someone new and ask something specific. “Do you listen to worship music every day?” is a lot easier to start with than small talk. By the end, the new faces have names and the regulars have learned something new about each other.

Pick your pack size

50, 100 or 200 bingo cards. Every card is different, so nobody is hunting for the same people as the woman next to her.

The packs build on each other: the 100-pack starts with the same 50 cards as the 50-pack, plus 50 new ones. The 200-pack has all 100 of those, plus 100 new ones. So you only ever need one pack. Count your guests, round up to the nearest size, and you’re set.

Need 150 cards? Don’t combine the 50-pack and the 100-pack. The first 50 cards are the same in both, so you’d end up with 50 doubles. Get the 200-pack instead.
